Description:
The Herdade do Esporão Wine Tourism, located in Reguengos de Monsaraz, opened its doors in 1997. It was the first to be certified in Portugal and it’s part of the World Wine Route.

The remodeling projects were developed with the objective of bringing the leisure areas closer to the production areas. The interventions included the complete transformation of the cellars where you can find the Casa da Herdade do Esporão’s wine racks, founded in 1973 by José Roquette and Joaquim Bandeira, the remodeling of the multipurpose room, the restaurant and the large terrace that provides the visitor with an idyllic view over the vineyard.

In 2016, Herdade do Esporão’s Wine Tourism was considered the “Best of the Year” by Wine Magazine – The Essence of Wine.
